2011 King George Champion Chase - Tips
Tipping in the King George Vl Chase has been reasonably simple for the last few years and it often is as generally the winner is usually one of the favourites in the King George Chase betting. At the moment it would be difficult to oppose race favourite and 2010 winner, Long Run, he won the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival and will take all the beating again at Kempton despite losing to Kauto Star last time out in the Betfair at Haydock.
That means that the King George Betting Without Long Run looks to be the market to play in and there looks to be some good value for punters here. We have some good young horses set to take their chance at Kempton and with Long Run below his best in the Betfair Chase it could be a cracking renewal.
King George Chase Tip 2011
- Master Minded - to win in the King George Chase Odds Without Long Run
The Paul Nicholls trained Master Minded is a massive price for Kempton as he looks to run over three miles for the first time. He is a dual Champion Chaser on his best form and has shown plenty of potential over 2m 4f and we take him to enjoy the extra trip.
Connections have been aiming Master Minded at this race ever since he won the Melling Chase in April so will be at peak fitness unlike some of his opponents on Boxing Day. Might be a bit too much to ask him to outstay Long Run but we take him to run a massive race at Kempton and shock a few.
